Welcome to the site, how did you find us?

A few notes...

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (importracer @ Apr 5 2006, 08:11 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>4 Cylinder; 2.0 Liters; 16 Valve Dual Overhead Cam MFI.

We all have this engine or one of the variants of it, either the 1.8L or 1.6L. About 95% of us have the RD Tiburon here mang, we know what the engine has. LOL

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Current engine performance: 179 Horsepower & 168 ft.lbs. Torque.</div>

Considering you haven't done much to your engine, how did you come to that figure? Do you have a Dyno? The Injen intake doesn't produce much HP, the Nology wires are known to be some of the worst out here, and I don't see anything else there that would add to your power, unless that's a full catback exhaust and you have headers with it.

Please, let us know.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>TECH Racing front & rear Strut Tower Bars.</div>

Who is that? Never heard of them.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>New exhaust with a RACTIVE MT- 612 High Performance Muffler.</div>

What kind of exhaust? Full Catback? New all the way to the headers? New headers too? Diameter? Mandrel or Crush bent (bented)?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>17”x7” RAGE VIGOR Wheels</div>

Wow, those are heavy. I just looked them up and they are like 20 pounds per rim. That's a loss of power bro.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Shark Racing Tiburon Rear EURO LIGHTS.
Shark Racing Front Clear Corner Lights.</div>

Sorry you had to buy from those schiesters, you do know they don't make any of those products right? The tails are just made in a couple of factories over there, SR has nothing to do with them. The Clear Corners are made by Hyundai's parts company, MOBIS, they are completely OEM.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>APC Euro Silicone Wiper Blades.</div>

AHHHH!!! APC IS THE DEVIL!

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>APC Head Rest Springs.

... Does it actually say that on the cover?

Depends mang. Most of the stock HP dyno's I've seen are about 120. Some a bit more, some a bit less.

Considering you can get about 12 WHP with a AEM CAI, and less with the Injen WAI, that might put you near 130 to 135. Ground wires, spark plug wires and plugs won't give you much of anything, maybe a combined .5 WHP, if that.

A GOOD exhaust, like the Maintec headers and the Apexi exhaust would net maybe another 8 to 12 WHP, but that's still far from 180.

Looks like you have been in the tiburon scene for some time now. Where have you been so long?

Anyway, welcome to the site. Some pictures would be great.

That's where he's getting at least 50 HP. Easy.
