<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (MK3Design)</div><div class='quotemain'>Exhaust is SSA, Yep, I knew I made a mistake after I saw this site and kspec.com.</div>
LOL Yup.
SSA, they are hit or miss. They will do whatever they can to get your money then never talk to you again. I'd definately try to sell it here or on HP.com
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I started searching and didnt think there was a big aftermarket for these cars so I took what I can get
</div>
It's a lot bigger than most folks think it is. For example, on www.kspec.com, we can get you anything that isn't on the site either. Just let us know. The aftermarket for us is about 2 X the size it was only 2 years ago. It's getting bigger.
Anyone heard from Mussa lately?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>WHy coilovers?</div>
Well, what brand? I just don't like Coilovers, too much work to change height in something that you will probably NEVER change the height. Springs and KYB's are my answer.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>They are 15" and I think they weigh only 12 lbs(w/out tires). Dont give me crap because I hate big rims tongue.gif</div>
You are becoming a favorite, quickly too. Doode, here at RD we DO NOT SUPPORT OR ENDORSE HUGE RIMS. I'm running 13 pound 16 inch Konigs myself, they look good and are light as hell. We have several folks with 17's but we usually gang up on folks to get them not to buy 18's or bigger. 15's? Wow.
Again, what brand and model are they? I can't see that picture well.
Also, please edit your profile to include a location, at least the STATE you live in. It solves a LOT of problems with questions later.
Thanks.

yah if you do a search youll find that 18's are never recomended unless its for show and 16's are usually the size recomended and 17's are acceptable if the person must have big rims, as long as they are light and u dont have rubber bands on them, im thinking about getting some 16's like redz cuz i likey and they dont look small on his car

I don't think we have a thread like that here?!?!And if I remember correctly that exel did look like @$$.
Good to see another brother come over from the darkside. Almost at the same time we have a casualty (BillyDeeTib01) we get a new member, wierd.
I've got 17s and they aren't that bad. When I switch to my stockers I definitely feel a difference though.

That was the excel with the intercooler sticking out of the hood right? ROFLOL, it was rather ugly. The SSA exhaust won't be too bad. In all honesty, worst come to worst, you can chop off the muffler and put on a new one if it sounds like hell.

yah it looked like he took a saw to that hood and just kept making the hole bigger until the hood closed properly, he should like throw a hood scoop on there or Something!
It was geared purely for performance, not for looks tongue.gif The ambient air just hit that sucker right on, best cooling that way. Hood scoop might have deflected some valuable air. smile.gif

My 17s are heavy, not Chrome heavy, but not light in anyway. It's not just the weight you will have to deal with either. Centrifugal Force also comes into play. Dragsters have small 14" wheels and like 20" of rubber to get traction. A smaller wheel will throw the power to the tires better than a larger wheel.
All in all I like the look of 17s vs. 16s Just fills everything better IMO.
