Hello Everybody! Meet The Black Tibby!
wow, i like it.. like the rims alot actually.. please dont get rid of it.. theres soo much information on here that will keep you interested.. looking great so far and i hope you keep it.. seems like you have good taste so i know what/if you have plans itll turn out well..
i am turbocharged and have a good amount of 'how to' knowledge about turbos in a tib.. tuning it for the street really isnt that hard.. i have mine tuned pretty good, and i did it by myself.. if you got an emanage for the car (if you went turbo'd) i have all the files needed to get the car up and running.
what suspension you going to use on the car?

Welcome. That's a real nice Tib you've got yourself there. Never really felt like i've had to have those kind of tailights, but on a black Tib, those dont look bad at ALL. What are the future plans for it?
Thanks for the compliments! Right now I'm trying to install new suspension. After some research I decided to go with Eibach Pro-kit springs and KYB GR2's. Maybe later I'll upgrade to some bigger sway bars and poly bushings. I plan on installing a short shifter too. I've always wanted a short shifter for the Tib! I also want to try some tinted tail lights with LED bulbs. I came across this website with all kinds of cool LED lights for car applications. I've gotta do something with the windshield wiper blades too, maybe try those simple one-blade design wipers. I forget what they are called. I've definitely gotta upgrade the exhaust and some headers. Would it be best to get an all custom exhaust, or buy one off a website? And...lets see...probably a carbon fiber hood sometime later. My stock hood is kinda messed up with hail damage and all kinds of scratches.
I will keep that in mind SOCKS if I do decide to turbo the Tib. There sure is a wealth of knowledge on this forum!
As for interior mods, I really have no plans. I really like the interiors you guys have on this site. The curvy lines really look good with the right paint and some cool lights. Those vent lights are friggin' cool! Right now I just like the stock look for my Tibby. I'm thinking of getting some 4 or 3-point harnesses.

live in 15 county eh?
isn't that around the hastings/grand island area. I unfortunately lived in thayer county at one time many moons age so i know the call numbers, lol. keep modding it bro cause you will find love in your tib again. ARGHHH, nebraska roads bite, not very nice on low profile rims and rubber band tires.

Haha! yes 15 county. Crappy North Platte, highest gas prices in the nation right now.
The roads really suck lately because they are resurfacing them the cheap way.
They cover the road with a layer of oil and then pile on a ton of gravel. I'm trying to avoid the
gravel-uped roads while driving the Tib, or if a have to, I drive slowly.
The Terc is another story though! I drive fast and try to drift as many corners as I can in the gravel.
What fun!
