^ ^ ^ True, we don't get much respect, but if you're building the engine, you'll earn the respect.

Really? I rarely, if ever, get any shit talked about me anymore. Lots of folks have found a new respect for the Hyundai breed, and plenty of folks have been owned by a RD here and there. If anything, I get more respect from the folks I meet for what I've done to my car and how well most of it is done, not to mention that I'm doing something DIFFERENT, and not slapping APC parts on a Civic.

yeah dude if you're going to own a hyundai you have got to have pride. i get crap everyday at work hyundai this hyundai that, but every time i roll out of the lot guess who's looking out the window at my car. lol, and trust me i looked for a tiburon website for a while and believe me this is the best and only one. you will get all questions answered, we have discounts through different vendors, we get great deals on group buys, and there are still vendors out there making more and more parts for our cars. oh and that red tiburon show car for sale, i would definately take a look at that car if i were you. she's selling it for a fare price and believe me the average person would not even recognize that as a hyundai.

well, it really varies. Those who aren't as mature OR knowledgeable will bash Hyundai's left and right. Those who actually work on cars, know what it takes, and can notice what you've done are always cool to talk to and interested in my Hyundai.

My problem is, I know too many locals with corvettes, cobras, Evos, Supras and civics running 11 or 12 seconds... they don't necessarily talk trash, but I'll always be slow to them. I'm still considered one step above a Honda fing02.gif
