hahah, you know only half the body kit is the original. I cracked the front bumper once as well as destroy my passenger sideskirt, so I got those knock offs. You can tell the knock off when it doesnt say Cuda Design @ on the item. I think i got the 209th body kit sold? after 100 body kits sold they changed the price from 3500$ to 1500$. That really was weird. The worst part about that is I lost all the badging that came with it saying C1 209th Cuda Kit. blah blah blah. It would have looked stupid with that on there anyways. I also chose to keep my stock spoiler I liked it better than the Cuda one. the rear bumper kicks ass with the exhaust I got. I'm pretty sure subliminally I got the kit just for the rear bumper. I was offered 5500 to 6000$ at a dealer ship for my car, if I got rid of the CF hood and put the stock ride height back on. My car only has 56.3K miles on it, was that a good deal or what? lol.

Welcome to the Site Joe! *High Five* and welcome to the small group of Official Cuda Kit Owners. Looks like you didn't get hit as bad with the "Cuda Curse" as so many of us have! haha.

If the dealer offered you 6000 for your tib, that's a pretty good deal. Most a dealer offered me was $4,000... but that was a cheap ass Infiniti Dealer when I was looking at a G35. The Dodge dealer offered me $4,000 sight unseen (Cause the tib was getting a new Tranny put in it) when I bought my Charger.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to find any new Cuda Fog light rings. But you can still get the Fog lights themselves, since they are Mobis parts. If you contact Shark Racing in Korea, you can get them.

Funny, you look like me at meets I go to. Sitting in the middle of a bunch of GKs. laugh.gif

lol, no the Cuda KIT is cursed, I had plenty of probs early on.. somehow I think the curse was lifted though, maybe it's when my bad driving record was cleaned last year? I've been through probably almost three bodykits with the amount of bumpers and thing I've broken. the front bumper and the passenger side skirt are fonies. the rear bumper and the left side skirt are still the originals. I ruined my body kit maybe two weeks after I first got it put on and painted. the body shop stole my tires with tred and left me some slicks... (warned down tires). It rained and I spun out crazily going 20 mph, very weird. did three 360 degree spins, and my front bumper barely knicked a guard rail and shattered, bought the front bumper and foglights again for like 600-700$ or something, and those fog rings got ran over by some jack ass driving through the broken fiberglass.. The worst part was when a guy drove by who had claimed he spent hours getting that kit to work right on my car called me an asshole and to get my piece of shit off the road. very horrified, lol. right now, I havent done any damage to the kit in the last 3 or 4 years.

Well we have tried hard to not be CUDA CURSED. though we also don't drive it cept to "a" store on sundays to keep it running. It's an original which we paid $2200 before they went to $1500. Zctually she wanted the Xion kit which they said they were having seller problems so they gave us the Cuda kit for a comproble price if I recall. I had all the Cuda design crap filled in and we aren't sure how to put the C1 Logo stuff on without it looking ricey so we may just put them on the display board or something.
Our fog rings are fibered from the rear so we have to refiber glass them in when the front comes off for paint. Kinda wierd but they didn't mount so it was what we did. The rings we weren't going to use but alas the shop welded them to actual pipes that size (like 4" I think) and faded them down to a normal 2.25 inch size to the aftermarket cat.

The car looks good and welcome. There should be a Md/Va meet sometime people. We'd be willing to host at Ft. Detrick (Free pavillions, grills, pond , ball field) Might be other crews there though as we always have some NJ/NY guys come down and some 240 guys.
