Why should I pay $77/year to Satelite when . . .
I can play online radio from my IPhone (Pandora, Last, IHeartRadio, AOLRadio, Tunemark etc.) over the car stereo system via Bluetooth?
Satelite is nice and all. I really dig the First Wave and Lithium channels. But I can find/build similar channels online for free.
Am I missing something here?

You can only stream music over your phone where you have service. With an AT&T iPhone, that's pretty much major cities only. Also, I bet that iPhone costs more than my T-Mobile service on my Android phone PLUS the cost of satellite. I pay $70/mo. for my phone with 1000 minutes, unlimited text and unlimited internet. I pay $10/mo. for Sirius. That's $80/mo total. How much does an iPhone with a similar plan cost? My Sirius works anywhere in the US. Even out on the highway where the only FM radio stations are the trucker stations.

I've been using Pandora over my G1 for a few months now in my truck. Run the mini-usb to my auxillary input on my headunit. Get great sound quality, and better music since it's tuned to your "accept/reject" input.
Satellite radio also goes out when driving under a bridge. I've been parked under one a few times, which sucks.
Internet radio downloads the full song to your phone, so you don't have that problem. I have T-mobile and get perfect 3g all over town and along the major highways outside of town. My GF's Sprint on the other hand, gets horrible reception.
