I'm wanting to know of any more ideas for the interior of my car, particularly the dash area. I've got a bit in mind, but I want to know what else could possibly be done, within reason. I'm not going to do a custom dash build or anything really crazy like that, but I want to know what else is even possible.
Here's what I've done:
GK pedals
EL glow gauges and needle LEDs (not planning on changing that any time soon, but if I did, it would be LED)
Short shifter
LEDs in most every spot possible (see picture below), I've replaced almost every stock bulb with an LED.
Upgraded head unit (I'm not changing it, so don't really need any ideas for LCDs or huge speakers and such)
What I know of that's possible to upgrade:
Diamond plate floor mats
Aftermarket steering wheel
Aftermarket seats
Dynamat [sound deadener] (planned)
Push button starter (planned)
Painted accents (planned)
KDM or C/F dash
E-brake boot
3 gauge pod (planned)
So what I'm after is ANY possible idea to improve the interior, anything you might think of. Like I said, I'm not really interested in upgrading my head unit setup or gauge cluster, so besides that, I'm open to any idea. I'm not necessarily going to do everything that's mentioned, I'm just out of ideas as to what else there is to do, and want to know your opinions. People like Tibby01 forced me to do the dash LEDs wink1.gif so I'm certainly open to any other ideas.
I guess this thread is similar to DTN's, but I'm after all ideas of anything possible.
Post them up!

you allready have a really clean interior the ONLY things i would add would be the diamond plate floor mats and the short shifter. dont paint anything on your interior that sort of stuff is rice and would ruin your perfectly clean and dark interior. now you could also get yourself some nice dark colored seats that would livin up the interoir more then enough. if your looking for a aftermarket wheel you could look into gettin the OEM 3 spoke wheel that looks like this . just keep your intrior clean because its defiantly one of my favorites on the site. i would hate to see it ruined with rice and unneccesarry stuff that would take away from your awsome lighting job.

Heated seats. Switch panel in cubby hole. shift knob. REDZMAN's shifter/e-brake boots. LEDs in speakers. Dancing LEDs. MISC electronics IE. GPS/Backup cam and monitor/Radar detector. EL roof panel lighting to replace domes (something I'm working out right now). RDTiburon membership viny. <-- a must.
Also, I had the same problem you have with my shifter knob. The boot slides down. You can go to the self help isle in auto parts stores and buy a throttle spring, then bend the sucker to sit on the shifter and hold up the e-brake boot.
