Any suggestions for what I should hook up to my GK paddle shifter? What functions do you suggest I make it control? For sure I don't want to rewire for Cruise Control. I want to retain my RD's stock cruise functionality. I was thinking of either, lights (under-dash, ground effects, ...) or maybe head-unit steering wheel controls - I have the Pioneer AVIC-710bt). Suggestions?

How about wiring them up to adjust stereo volume? It's just a switc solered to the circuit board. I think that would be pretty elegant

You can use a PAC SWI-PS interface to connect the buttons to your AVIC and set them up for whatever functions you want.

I don't know exactly what DTN is talking about, but I would NOT try to take apart and hack an expensive headunit to cheap out on a $50 part.

Thanks, guys! fing02.gif

Radu, that's the exact steering wheel control adapter I was looking at. I think that's exactly what I'm gonna use the paddle shifters, to control - my headunit. cool.gif

I'm not sure if DTN was referring to hard-wiring the volume controls from the headunit to the paddle shifters, but if that was it, I wouldn't feel comfortable taking my AVIC apart (I just got it for Christmas too).

Hook it up to your NAWZ Brah!!!!!! lol

Honestly, I didn't even know they had paddle shifters. I guess lights would be the way to go.
