pull the surround off and unscrew it? its not to hard. youll need a dash kit and a wiring harness for the tib.

Are you talking about just the head unit (deck)?

It's pretty self explanatory dude...start by removing the shift boot, then the shifter surround, then the lower crash panel, then the radio surround. Once you have that all apart, then you have to disconnect the current deck.

Now the easiest way to do this (unless you wanna splice 20 wires and have it be a pain in the ass..):
Go to best buy or circuit city or something and buy a wiring connector [your deck] TO Universal AND also buy a connector Universal TO [your year tib]
After you do that it's just plug and play..
Plug the Universal to [your year tib] into the stock connector, then plug the [your deck] to Universal into that and to the deck.

my head unit has about 30 wires and some RCAs, i decide to splice because there would not be room for any longer wire back there.

If you go to the DIY section, you'll see a DIY for removing the Dash.

Follow the pictures for the first few steps, then just remove the 4 screws holding the brackets attached to the stereo.

That's it.

DIY thing is too old, pictures are not able to be shown. And thatnks for you help, but telling me to remove stuff just like that isn't going to help. How do I remove all this panelling without just ripping it off my car?

Got it done, used DIY's from other sites. Thanks though

Well, you could start by using a little common sense. Get a screw driver, and unscrew all the screws, then pull.

Although, if it's your first time taking part of the dash off, then you might want to do a little research for yourself. There is a "dash removal" DIY on this site (AND on webtech), and also REDZMAN's "stereo install" DIY. If the pictures weren't showing, you could have posted asking for someone to update them, REDZMAN almost always keeps a backup of the good DIY's and has What more do you want bro?

Anyway, now that you got it done, let's see some pics. What kind of deck did you get? How's it look?

Yeah, it does help, cause THAT'S HOW YOU DO IT.

No one said "RIP" anything off though. You just pull them out. Tada.

As for the DIY's, maybe you could have been somewhat helpful and just let the person that wrote the DIY know that the pics don't work? Just as an idea, you know, to help others out later?

Lazy ass.

Lastly, a quick search for Dashboard Removal came up with this.

What do you know, pictures showing you how.

What else...

Oh yeah, I updated the DIY.

Sorry, was a little frustrated. I did alot of seraching on the net, little extra pulling here and there, managed to figure out what the word "bezel" meant, and voila! It worked. I didn't know the people kept their pics on their computers, and could update them, but for next time I know.

As for a picture of it, give me a day or two, I'll borrow my friends digi cam.
