Default TOP-O-THE-LINE!

Top of the line, as far as Kenwood goes anyway...
That's right, I just put my deposit on Kenwood's Excelon MP3-player and Excelon 5 1/4" component speakers... Can't wait to get them. Unfortunately my girlfriend is making me save up the cash instead of charging them to my account with the place I bought them from...
The model numbers are KDC-X959 for the head unit... KFC-X138 for the speakers...
I think I got a good deal, $825 for both, before taxes {Canadian}. I did the research and that's pretty damn good in my opinion.
Hopefully my friend and I will have it all installed by X-mas.

Well,I do like Kenwoods upper end decks, but in my opinion their speakers don't sound so great. But of coarse stereo systems are subjective. What sounds great to me may not sound so great to you.

Have you listened to those Kenwood speakers?? Hope it works out!!

I listened to a lot of speakers... I know Kenwoods may not sound the best, but they definitely aren't the worst. And for the price I picked this set up at, I'd be stupid not to scoop them up. Besides, I am only trying to upgrade what I already have, and that's the Clarion speakers that came stock in my car.
