those crazy annodized footrest thingies
i ordered one of those nifty anodized footrest thingies, and it looks great, well, in the package at least.. i can't figure out how to install it without drilling through the bottem of my car!
i mean, it has four screwes, two on the mid-left hand side, and two ont he bottem.. the two on the left hand side would go into the existing footrest, but where would the bottem two go?
will i hafta drill into my floorboard? eep!

Zup dude...I have the red anodized foot rest for my 2K. You're basically right as far as drilling goes. Just place the foot rest over the stock one, and make sure it's fitted nice and snug. Then just drill the screws right in.
It'll stay put without any issues!

So Solly....no digicam. And I still have 19 pics left on my film roll before I can get it developed.
One of my other friends has the foot rest also. He's got the Tropical Green color Tib, and he has the chrome foot rest. Looks pretty sweet!

will i hafta like, put anything on the undercarrage so that the places where the screws come out won't rust?
i'd think that'd be a problem.. and once i get it in i'll post a digicam pick on my website (see below for crappy webpage)

Use aluminum screws, those won't rust. The body is already undercoated (or should be), so you should be okay there.
If you want to be 100% sure, a dab of paint, or rubberized coating should do the trick.
