Default painting speaker covers

i want to paint my rear speaker covers but they have a cloth covering over them. ive seen the front dash covers painted and mine has the cloth on those too. does the cloth just come off? also how do i get to the rear speakers? do i have to take that whole panel off? if random or someone could post a nice graph or whatever that would be cool.

you have a 2000??? My 2000 tib just has grills....The only thing you have to do is slide a screw driver under the grill and pop it up....It only has three tabs holding it on...Just make sure you take your time and not break any of the tabs.....

That is weird that you have cloth over your rear speaker grills, mine are metal on my 2K Tib. The front tweeter covers are cloth, though. I reccommend actually using a new cloth material instead of painting them. It takes a lot of paint to cover the meshy fabric stuff.

Well you could get some bleach and bleach them white and then go and get some fabric dye and dye what ever color you want them it would be cheaper and easeir to do that and that way it won't flake off in 3 months. But bleach them first colors will take much better to white than to lets say gray or black or so on.

What you do is find a junk yard online that has 2000 tibs.....Buy the grills from them...Im sure it won't be to much and then paint them....Then at least you hvae two sets of grills.....
