i'm looking for a sparco shift knob..
i've seen a couple i like but not to sure how its going to look in person.

here is what i mean

here is exhibit A:

and here is exhibit B:

you see the differences.. i like exhibit B better because its shorter but the thing is it looks wider too.. the main thing i'm worried about is the base of the knob .. it looks soooo much wider than A. how is this going to fit? or is it just the pictures thats deceiving and the base is actually the same size?

same thing goes for these ones:

i believe they'll come with adapters to fit shifter with different diameter

my Razo shiftknob came with different sized adapters (three in total, 8/10/12mm i believe)

I have the last one and also the Luxor boot.
It uses 3 screws to tighten it on the shaft. That one also leaves a small gap between the boot and the knob. It's almost impossible to know what knob fills that gap without trial and error, or seeing one on someone elses car.

One thing you could do, is if there's part of the shaft exposed, you could cut the shaft down that much to close it up.

BTW, that last knob is pimpin. I love having it. Have you seen my pics of it and the Luxor boot?
