No!

The reason they say 'X' hu won't fit is because they are going by the large 1.5 DIN opening.All you need is a single DIN hu and the mounting kit.The mounting kit comes with a small pocket that will fit at the bottom of the hu.Oh, and of course you should use a wiring harness adapter.
