Your trunk looks awesome, you covered a good bit more than me. Any fitment issues with the top of the hatch area covered? I'm wondering if the plastic cover still snaps right in.
platic cover snaps in perfectly
while layering the dyanmat i cut the holes big enough for the clips to go through
well, the only problem i could find with the edead is that it may smell. this apparently would only be for a couple weeks MAX. i actually read one post on a forum where a person said the only deadener they ever had smell was fatmat, for a day or two. the smell doesnt really concern me as long as it goes away.
the edead v1 reg. is supposed to be the same thickness as the fatmat, while saving .1 lb./ft^2 in weight. i think thats the main thing that caught my eye, plus having an extra 20 ft^2.
what did you mean by no aluminum layer?

Not trying to steal a topic, but I have heard of people using Rhino Lining. They completely remove the interior, mask, and spray the entire interior: ceiling, floor, walls, doors. I may give this a go in the future.
Rhino is a TOUGH material. Friend of mine builds all his own road cases for his audio gear and he covers his stuff in Rhino. Throw it in the truck, ship through several states, take it out, set it up, throw it back in the truck... day after day after day.. he has had equipment fail from shipping before the Rhino got scratched through to the wood it is on.
While I am going to add sound deadening to my car.. I am not going as extreme. Just the spare tire well, the floor of the trunk, and the inner fenders for me. I do not need the back bulkhead or the areas inside the fenders done.

I've pretty much decided on http://www.b-quiet.com/brownbread.htmlfor under the hood and firewall. 60 mils thick. I would get the Hliner, but that's just too much $ per square foot.
Has anyone lined their hood yet?
