Thanks to my parents, my new house for school coming up this Jan, now that I'm finished with the military.

Sad when 250k only gets you 1500' no backyard with $60monthly HOA's

If anyone is interested can also do a DIY on the Defi-Link setup. Also the Turbo guage was a bonus, so may come up in FS shortly just requires the control unit II.

The sub box is all fiberglass, really a FB newb here, but learned quickly. Have the car masked off on the pass side now, just have to glass it up tomorrow. I have noticed alot of members really build up more resin layers on their projects, I know thickness is your friend but isnt laying 7+ layers sufficient enough?
Boxes = .6/.7, TBA, once both completed to equal them out.

While the pass side is curing tomorrow will be laying out the front facet for the mold pictured. Also need to do sub rings etc. Might help to do a DIY on the pass side tomorrow then since I have not seen one listed.

good looking box, but you forgot one thing.. that box is blocking your compression flap... when you close your trunk your windows and sunroof are going to pop outwards to release the pressure.

I did some work with fiberglass and am currently working with a box for a tv i made from fiberglass. Yours looks really good color and uniformity speaking mang.

here's some pictures of mine. I was going to go with the same side you went with, but the sub would have blocked that vent.

Actually not, my father has re-routed air to it along with another port. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to post a pic.

Yes the first couple layers it was brutal lots of un-soaked fiber and bubbles, but once you get the hang of it your addicted lmao.gif atleast in my case.

DTN, how many layers of FB did you lay or is that just alot of resin? From the photos it looks like its 1/2" thick. Look awsome though!
-Did you fiberfill it?
-How does it sound?

Both sides will have these boxes with the 10"s reversed, angled and pointed towards center to increase the wow factor and point of focus. Also the amp(s) will be "Floating" in the middle of the trunk up on a hidden rack right under the black cover. I say amp(s) b/c idk yet what else im doing. Running Audiobahn 6.5/6x9s with 100/200rms. So can either go with a single amp to power all 4 or 2 seperate amps. One for fronts and one for rears, and even add an additional set of 6x9s in the trunk in another custom fb enclosure aswell. Also ISO 3F audiobahn cap instead of the 12F cap.

Final req.. Back seats need to be able to fold down along with access to the spare tire. I have bad karma to say the least. Last month BRAND new tires $500, and had a blowout three days after installation >

I've been holding out on doing a diy until i finished the box i'm working on now.

I planned on calling it"DIY: how to fiberglass stuff"

TiburonMoo was going to help me because he's doing a similar project right now and I'm missing a few pictures. But it seems he dropped off the face of the planet recently. Would you like to do a DIY together?

K, the main things i need is a better picture of the mold removed from the vehical, the full unit covered in fiberglass before bondo, after bondo, and carpeting, if you don't carpet then nevermind. There's a bunch of topics covering painting.

hit me up on MSN or Yahoo! when you get done. We'll talk a bit.
