dude. seriously... i dunno what it is, but i love the location. mainly for its originality. most put switches in like the ash tray. some in the sunglass holder. i put a switch in the coin holder thing near the shifter...

yours is definately unique.

QUOTE (Kit-Fox @ Apr 30 2005, 09:33 PM)
lol the lights are for pretty looking not switching heh. vats eh shpell cheker!?

So the red, green, and yellow aren't switches? I'm just not a big fan of those type of toggle switches. I think it would look alot better with the 3/4" round switches with the LED's built into them.

not bad kit, definatly need those lights to do something tho

kit wouldnt wanna use the spell checker, that would mean it would take longer to post, and his posts per day might go down lol. i see that the spell check button is where you might assume the post button was, doubt that is an accident. it should be manditory for kit...

they are switchable, theres an adapter you can put on under them and then they work as switches also, but i dont need that many switches. The reason they dont shine that bright is cuz the pics were taken in the day and the lights are 24v

Ya, if you can tap into that stuff, idk how, you could probably put sensors underneeth the gauages and once the needle strikes a sensor the light turns on. But that is wayyyyyyyy out of my leauge

That would be the ghetto way of doing it.

You could buy a cheap shift light, pull the electronics out of it and wire it up to a light. You would probably need to buy three though, so you can have them come on in sequence. Seems like a whole lot of work for something you would hardly be able to see while you were driving though.
