Hey guys I am gonna get leather seats for my RD1 from a place here in Pit, but he only has seats from a 2000. Will they fit into my rd1 like oem? and He said they are a grey leather. Are they like a light grey, or a black/darker and he got confused for some reason? lol kinda dumb question I know. But I want them dark black leather like strike has. Is the RD2 leather really that different from the RD1 black leather? Thanks

The leather is different. The rd2 is two tone and a much tighter stitch.

I did the same thing. It's an exact swap. You'll love it, except when it's cold and your balls freeze.

they fit, pile_of_rd1 installed them. anything int is preayy much swappable between the cars, being that there the same car, just with a ass/face lift.

yep same thing. the 00-01's are two tone. I have leather seats and when it gets cold yes you feel like a caveman without fire. i don't mind it warms up in a little bit.
