Passenger Door Panel
I'm not even sure if this is the right section to post in, truthfully. I'm looking to put a high gloss black finish on the center stack and door panels. The only thing holding me back at the moment is the texturing on the passenger side. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to smooth that out?
Sanding? Filling? I'm uneasy about leaving it the way it is and still have the center/instrument surround and driver's side door panel high gloss, even though the driver's side door blends with the cowl whereas the passenger side does not. BLARG.

I agree with Tibby01.. don't paint the passengerside door panal. I realize that it is tempting because it is the same hard plastic as the Driver's side.. but consider the "flow" of the dash. On the driver's side of the car it wraps around the driver from elbow to elbow in one smoothly shaped piece of plastic that goes from door panal, to guage panal, to upper radio console and finally finishes with the lower shift panal. Painted neatly it adds a nice touch that both starts and ends smoothly.
Paint the passengerside and it goes from the passenger's elbow to the dash.. and stops dead. I think that looks just aweful. The reason that Hyundai put a texture on that panal is to keep it matching the dash (Crash) pad precisely
