Ok, my panasonic head unit is XM ready. I was just wondering which of you has satellite radio, and how you like it. Is it all that it's cracked up to be???

I've got it, it kicks ass, and XM is way better than Sirius, and yes, it's all it's cracked up to be.

I have Sirius and its just about all I listen to now, there's almost always something good on. I havent really listened to much XM but I'm sure its probably just as good. Highly recommend it!

Have had Sirius for 2 years, and never listen to FM, ever. I also barely ever listen to CD's too, theres always something good on.

Since I got mine, my only complaint has been that they had the one channel I wanted most off for the holidays for christmas music.

Now that it's on though, I've heard 2 songs on it I sorta didn't care for, but I still didn't change the channel.

My head unit is XM ready, but I already had an XM Roady 2 before I switched the head unit into my car. I've had XM since September 2004 and YES, it's all it's cracked up to be. You'd probably love Opie and Anthony too. wink1.gif

The cool thing is, since it's a head unit, the quality of the sound would come in better as opposed to hooking up an outside unit. I believe all you need to get is an antenna and maybe an FM modulator.

sirius, its great, especially for me who misses my new york radio, with sirius you get all the latest music, and not just the hits.

Ive heard songs from some of my favorite groups that radio would never have played.

Ill never go back to FM again, even my CDs are getting less playtime !!

best thing !! NO COMMERCIALS

After messing with both, Sirius has less coverage, and DEFINATELY less ground stations (Ground re broadcasts of the satelite signal). My XM doesn't go out, at all.
