I have recently purchased an in dash dvd player and monitor both single din for my dash. Unfortunately there are no left front speaker, right front speaker etc wires to connect to either of the two units. All i have are 4 wires - yellow, blue, red, black...im pretty sure i need some more items before this will work in my car. my question is what do I need, where can i find it, and if anyone has already done this [which im SURE someone has] a little bit of help would be marvelous.
Thanks again guys

It sounds like that the in-dash dvd player is unpowered!!! it should just have aux line outs prolly RCA's Red or White or both. You need an amplifier and from the amp into your speakers.
Im sorry to say, but you definately went to a harder route.
On my setup, I have an Alpine HU with AUX inputs and a 7 inch LCD monitor right below. An Xbox in the trunk acts as my player/game system. From the xbox, the video (yellow RCA) connects to the LCD monitor and the audio (Red and Yellow RCA's) are connected to the AUX inputs of my Alpine HU.
By doing it this way, I can still have the functions of a radio, cd player, etc instead of just having a dvd/cd player.
I will try to post pics of my setup if you need

no... you don't need that FM transmitter. I looked at your link and, yes the DVD player is unpowered.... As I said, you need an amp to power your speakers.
