Ive taken my backseats out too.Its nice to be able to say "I cant fit you,I have no backseats".But when I was single and those couple times you WANT to cram a few girls in the car its really hard lol.So I put them back in.Now that Im back with my girl the only use they have is to hold all my cd binders lol.I suppose I may take them back out.Who knows.

This Weekend I'm planning on building a deck to replace the seats with, for now (I don't have the funds for a system right now sad.gif).

How do you take the back seat belts out? I know the 2 bolts under the seat, but what else?

Splinter,,

I'm doing the same sort of project right now,, so any questions we can probably help each other out quite a bit. Mine will probably be wrapped up this weekend, aside from the upholstering of the new deck and maybe the rest of the trunk. Any questions let me know, and i'll do the same.

^Cool.

I've got almost everything figured out, just not the back seat belts... I know I'll have to take the back quarter panel off but other then that I don't know.

Also I think I'll take some pics and maybe do a write up... If it hasn't been done before(and I have some time).

As far as a system goes I'll have to wait on that, but I'm still not sure what to go with... My friends suggested 8" subs for sounds quality, but if I went with 10" I'd have some kick with it.

8's are a little small, If you want some thump but nothing too too drastic, go with tens,, Tens give you a nice tight bass,, they sound really good with rock music too, it accentuates the bass drum in the music. Twelves are a little deeper tone not as tight but still good, i'm running two twelves myself and the cars PLENTY loud. What kind of music will you be listening to mostly if you don't mind me asking? Like i'll listen to rap or hip hop stuff for the bass, and its real loud,, but if i listen to rock it still sounds really good. I think if you get into anything bigger like 15's it just gets too loose of a sound. Anyways hope that helped alittle.

^ That's exactly what I was thinking cool.gif.

Mostly rock and techno, some rap here and there.

Thanks man.

I went to wal-mart to get some carpet today, and they told me they didn't carry anything like that. So I went to ABC and they don't either sad.gif. Where can I get that carpet at?

I can't see any audio shops selling me any up here, so I need to find it at a surplus kinda place or somthing. If I find some i'll let ya know. If anyone has any ideas of whre to get it,, please fill us in.
