I see a lot of people run space heaters under their car to warm it up, but that wouldn't help when parked in a lot. Other than letting it idle for a good 10-15 minutes to warm up the entire vehicle, I don't know.

I wouldn't risk either.

I would better use parking heater. That heats up coolant, so engine will heat up to 140 F, and cockpit up to 70 F. You can turn it on or use schedule.

Webasto Parking Heater

BTW, there are thermos bottle for a coolant, so it will stay warm for day or two, but it will not warm up you cockpit.

i bought a magentic reed switch for mine, so that it will only start when the shifter has returned to the middle nuetral position.

A guy at a my local car audio & security store said that he would install one for $250..and that would include the keyless entry too...but i dont think he was including the security...
Is that a good price??

is this a good one??? or is it junk?

as long as an alarm works and has the features you want its good. alarm effectiveness really depends a lot on the install.

Same brain, the remotes look a little different, but same diff.

I get my remote start & keyless entry tomorrow....

Ill have to update you all on how it is...

Im payin about $275 for remote start/keyless entry/& dumby led

in two weeks, i'll pay off my debt to Redz, and deffinately will put the Viper alarm/remote starter in my car.....

The tib received the remote start & keyless entry today! I must say i am very impressed with the features and i would recommend this tool/modification to anyone! It is a very handy feature, especially when you live in ohio and freeze your ass off!

But i am very satisfied with it!
