i recently installed the red door lense in my door panel. i'm trying to run the power and ground wires into the passenger compartment-... this was a custom job so i cant just plug the harnesses together-... it seems as if the rubber tube that the wires run through (in door jam) has a harness that plugs into the side of the car-... how can i cleanly/effectively/reliabley run a power and ground from the door to the passenger compartment?

you can steal power from your window switch instead if you want. Theres a constant ground and power man

Just run one wire out to the switch that is for when the door is open. Unless you want them on with the headlights or all the time.
