Default Rear head rests for 2001

I noticed two covered holes in the panel behind the back seats, obviously for headrests.

Anyone seen these/know where I might find them?

I don't think those are for headrests. I believe those are for the straps that hold down a child safety seat.

np, would have been nice though. I sent an e-mail to st. charles auto just for sh*ts & giggles. It doesn't kill my buzz to find that out, just like knowing what the hell is in my car!

2001 Elantra GT's have rear headrest. Maybe they would work. I am not quite sure where these holes are your talking about but worth a shot.

There's a panel that covers the storage area when the hatch is closed, so you can't see into the trunk. It pivots from a connexion point just behind the rear seats, and is suspended from the hatch.

Rear headrests would be kinda cool, though. Maybe you could take a set from the front seats, and see if you can find a way to install the little plastic holders onto the rear seats?

Very well described Iago, koodos! It would have to have a rounded bar since they are about 4 inches back from the seat, I assume when you open it they would be able to just slide right over the top of the back seat so you couldn't have people sitting in the back seat when you opened the trunk. That doesn't really matter since nobody ever wants to sit in my back seat! wink.gif
