Rca Cables?
I highly doubt there's enough power going through the turn on to cause interference. And considering that most premium wire manufacturers offer at least one cable like that, it's probably not an issue.
Some high-end decks that don't have built-in amps have their own remote turn on output(s) for softly turning on external amps, perhaps that explains the spade on each end.

I'm at work right now. So I'll take a pic when I get home in an hour or so. smile.gif
**EDIT**
I'm home now. so here is a pic of what I'm talking about.

It's the same at both ends, with the left and right and the extra wire.

I would say its the remote turn on at least on the amp side but not sure why it would have one on the deck side unless its made for something specific. What brand are they.

Can't you get interference having the remote wire and RCA cables together?
No, thats if you run your power wire along side your RCA, interference could happen, but doesn't always.

Nah, the RCA's run the sound back to the amp, and the remote wire (pictured with RCA cables) tells the amp when to turn on and off. If you hook it up to the deck, it will turn off and on with the deck. If you put it to a switch, you have manual control.
