Racing seat brackets for 97 tibby
#11
Re: Real Or Fake
My question is ... for those of you that have racing seats ... you in particular Blacktibs ... how tall are you and how is the headroom with the Tenzo R's?
I have a set in my car with brackets that I made up and they sat higher then the stock seats, I'm 5'10 and it was uncomfortable to the point that I just took them out and sold them as I had made the brackets as low as possible.

If you want a cheaper option that will hold you in I put in RJS 4 point seatbelts, they came 5 pt but I didn't feel comfortable with the 5th one
They willl hold you in really tight but it takes a while to get buckled in, maybe take you about 30 min for both, maybe less smile.gif

Re: Konig 17" Tantrum with rubber for Tiburon
I currently Have Corbeau seats with Corbeau Brackets and harnesses.....I am 6'0 155lbs and I fit fine ...however the aftermarket brackets do raise the height of seat maybe a inch, it takes some time to get used to the seat height....also I have mentioned this in other posts .....if you can find a place that sells the seats you want so you can sit in them and make sure they are comftorable for you....I have the corbeau TRS seat , However I was going to buy the CR1 but found it uncomfortable for long periods of time due to the narrower back. You can see pics of my interior and seats at...... http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/454434 .... the pics are old and dont show everything done over the summer but they do show my seats.

Re: coming from a small town...
As greatlakestib said I know that Corbeau does make brackets for our cars but their seats are expensive. Very nice but still expensive. Beyond that I think your only option is making or getting brackets made.
