If you would survive the crash, yes. If you wouldn't survive the crash, the bolt-in may fail sooner if not properly secured . . . but you would be dead by the time your roll cage goes flying loose, so don't sweat it.
Do sweat the mounting of your seat belts. If you get a 4 or 5 point belt setup, make sure the shoulder parts are secured to something higher than your shoulders.

Rereading my 1st post in this thread I was wrong so
to me on that. I never read the NHRA rule book so I never heard of 4º down, but if I was to put a harness on my seat the belts would be straight back, to a bar immediately behind the seatback. A very slight down angle makes sense because you won't be staying as high in your seat in a crash. An up-angle lets you up off your seat. My point was bolted-to-the-floor is straight-up dangerous!
