ok i having been looking around for something and i was going to buy a screen and then a separate dvd player to go into my glovebox(i can't spend all that money for the nice in-dash ones).well my brother bought has 2 playstation 2's and i figured i can just put that into my car since it has a dvd player into it...

now how would i got about wiring this? and is this a good idea?

 

Where do you plan on putting the tv screen at??? If you check out ebay they sometimes have REALLY good deals on the in dash tv's!!! Just got to find it at the right time...probably sometime after Christmas. I once saw a Alpine in dash cd player on auction and the final price was $500.

 

i was planning on mounting it like in the middle of the dash right where the clock is? so it would be blocking to 2 air vents? but that is ok since i can just aim it off to the sides

its a great idea, i forget the specifics odf the install, ive only done it once, on some football players surburban.

alpine is nice quiality stuff, personally im going with pioneer. Its illegal in GA to watch tv while driving so im going to wire my front screen to only activate when the e-brake is activated somehow.

theres something to do with a controller box if you want to do more than a ps2 on your screen.

you can make it in dash, it would look better, and cutting off your middle air vents just makes your sides ones push a lot more air.
