what does having your car dynoed and glass shattering have to do with one another?
i think its something like hitting 150 dbs or something is when glass starts to weaken, and then its all up to db fatigue or something, that will make the glass more prone to shattering over time.
If you're gonna run a seriously deep bass system, youre gonna want to replace that glass with some plexiglass.

I think he meant that he was getting his whole car coated in dynomat, for sound quality. 164db is pretty powerful, you really may want to look into some plexiglass for your rear window. The dynomat will help reduce some of the vibration that can affect your window, but thats a lot of sound and not a lot of strong glass. Everything has a breaking point and you may reach that with 164db.

I know of several audio cars with less than that the blow out the windsheild completely. Aparently the whole cars had been sealed up tho, so the windsheild was the weakest point.
