E-Bay Wiring Kit

Finally going to get the tib wired up for my subs and amp over the christmas holiday. When I traded in my last car I didn't think ahead enough to pull out the wiring, so my setup (2x Sony Xplod 1200watt subs and a Rockford Fosgate 900watt amp) has been sitting in a closet back at my parents house since August.

Also pumped that the wiring kit is going to match the color of my car. smile.gif

To further increase my tib-related excitement, I'm getting payed for a web job within the next week that will allow me to get the 16" Konig Britelites + new rubber on my car.

Woot!

Ditto, Personally I think the Xplod speakers/subs are unfortunately the only low quality products that Sony makes, and most of the Xplod subs give off annoying bass IMO... but if they work good for you thats awesome

But Fosgate products kick ass and I bet that amp kicks hard fing02.gif

If you're going to brand bash don't bother commenting. When I got the subs I compared them to the pioneers I wanted to get, a pair of rockfords, and another random brand I don't remember at best buy. When they were hooked up to the same amp the sony's sounded the best at the price range I was in. I wouldn't have used my hard earned money to buy them if they didn't.

Im only saying that because I had 2 Xplod 10's in my old silver Tib that I bought brand new because they were in my price range and I liked them at the time as well, but after a while I decided to go with Kicker and was well pleased....

Not a brand bash, and I'm not saying they're bad (I had some too and wouldn't have bought them if they were) It was just an opinion based on personal experience cool.gif I just think that if you get the chance, go for a different type and I think you'd be very pleased. I know I was fing02.gif

Actually, when this system goes on me (which hopefully won't be for a long while since I don't push it that hard, but I just made it past the 4 year warranty term) I'll probably downsize to 10's instead of 12's since I don't need to blow out windows at this point in my life and prefer the response of 10's.

I'm not brand bashing. Anyone who knows car audio knows that brands like pioneer (whilst great for head units) and sony (who really cant make anything good for cars) are not very good.

When choosing subs you are best to choose a sub made by a company who specialises in them, and price shouldnt ever be a problem because there are always sweet deals to be had online.

For example, a couple of months back sonic were doing solobaric 12's for $89 a pop, which isnt alot more than you paid for them sonys only they would kick the crap out of them sonys.

But hey, Im no expert, so if youre happy with them then enjoy smile.gif
