Is Polk Audio considered same quality as Kicker or JL Audio?
I had this argument the other day with a kid with a riced out civic. He tried telling me Polk is the same quality as Kicker and JL Audio, where as I said its more on the level of Kenwood, Mtx, Sony, etc. He wasnt having it and got really pissed off and stormed away. I thought it was funny but the more I thought about it the more I wondered if they really are as good as Kicker and the rest of really high end lines.

Maybe I am old school but I remeber when KICKER was junk! JL A has always been good and Polk is like BOSE. Great home and sound stage systems (most of the concert halls here are stup with polk audio actually. They usually have better range then most like the BOSE systems.

Polk is not a top tier mobile audio brand, but really neither is Kicker. I own some products from both and have no complaints, but they're not top tier.
