Those all look cool guys. I was actually thinking of doing something along the lines of DrivingTibNaked's setup. With the sub over in 1 of the corners like that. Im asuming you built the box out of MDF? Im thinking to do it in fibreglass. That looks cool tho...

Thanks. The ring which the speaker mounts is made of MDF. I made the rest of the box of FiberGlass. Only the frame I FG'd is made of lightweight dowels. The entire enclosure is FG.

visionz - I plan on doing something similiar to that, with it imbedding in the spare tire location, but I want to have it mounted a little further down and then put a sheet of (slitted plexiglass? or something) over top to protect the sub faces, and retain a bit of grocery-transporting space.

1UCB4U - With the way you have that set up, does your sub enclosure lift up when you open your hatch? Kind of a silly question, since i'm pretty sure it doesn't, but it would be pretty cool if it did.

No I actually just took the front off a single sub box and re-made the front to sit in the stock cargo cover spot's...

I got it from REDZMAN at NOPI last year. He said he got it from a member in Canada.

Hey DNT - how'd you do the FG enclosure like that? Thinking
of a pair of 10 subs soon... that'd be a pretty damn good setup smile.gif
How's it actually sound though? (Note - I'm still a audio n00b... so forgive this)
Does it actually sound good? Thought you aimed the subs back so it bounces off
the hatch to give good sound and bass ?? Though as I noted, still a n00b @ audio...

EDIT - I take back the question bout making the FG enclosure.
Did some more searching and found your thread. Still curious bout sound quality....

do some searching on SPL test wink1.gif. It sounds really good. I don't have any gay cranked up stereo sounds on the outside of the car like you would if you turned it any other way then forewards or sideways. It's not dynomatted, it just sounds really clean outside. Inside the car it sounds excellent. It moves alot of air and sounds great with or without the back seats down. I'm sure it would be louder upwards, but then that would be ALOT of sound proofing needed. I really like my setup and would not be inclined to sell it.
