Hi,

I searched the forums, but didn't see this issue come up. The Light bulb tables (on the FAQ) show that the RD2 needs a DE3022 map light bulb. I ordered two of these (from superbrightleds.com), but they are too short. I have a 2000 Tib). A 3022 bulb has 30 mm length. I measured my map light bulb and it has 36mm length. The trunk light bulb also has 36 mm. I ordered a couple of 3610s, and I'm pretty sure those will fit.

Just wanted to give a heads up so other people don't get the wrong bulbs like me. Measure the length of your bulb before ordering smile.gif

That's odd. I purchased two 4-LED 3022 bulbs for my map lights from superbrightleds.com and they fit fine.

Yes it's weird. Anyway, measuring the bulb should be very easy. Also, I tried the two 3022 lights I ordered, and the 4 LED seemed brighter than the 9 LED one (as well as more compact). It might be just me, but the LEDs do look different inside, so it's possible that the leds in the 9 LED are weaker. These were white LED bulbs.

So yeah the 4 LED 3022 is the way to go - or the 4 LED 3610 in my case smile.gif

The DE 3022's have worked fine in my maplights too, for years.

I have had 2 Tibs (both with Sunroofs), exact same year model, and when I went to swap Map Lights..... Different sized bulbs, and different sized clamps to hold the bulbs.... I have no idea why....

So maybe you've got the same kinda thing...

Pshhht... whatever... I kept having to change mine. I now run custom blue LEDs.
