I wanna buy these http://www.cardomain.com/item/STGELPSANB, but accordin to the reviews it makes a high pitched noise - do you know why this could be?

they make a high pitched noise because the transformer that neon lighting requires emits a noise after it steps the 12v in your car up to 3000volts.

eh... I like the interior of my car dark when I drive.. I even keep the gages as low as the dimmer will allow... less distracting to these old eyes.
