This is my painted interior. You would never guess what type of paint this is and how extremely strong it is. Look at that glare!

Oh yeah, forgot to ask,... is it hard to see with that bright thing on the top of the dash?

Yeah, during the day the glare off the dash hits right smack dab in the center of the windshield. Sucks if you don't have sunglasses! I got the paint at Wal-mart for $2 a can. It is that 500 degree engine paint with about 5 coats of clear coat on top of the 10 coats of red paint. At least I know the hot sun won't melt it or make it fade. Took all day to do the interior. Paint dries completely in about 3 hours. I used a blow dryer to hurry the process I wanted to see how tough it was so I tried to scrape it off of the plastic but the only way it would come off was with a screwdriver or a chisel. Gasoline won't even take it off. The paint comes in all different types of color: yellow, blue, dark blue, red, orange, etc. Any more questions just ask wink.gif smile.gif

Hawaiibullrider: I used about 4 and a 1/2 cans of red and 1 can of clear. The four cans of red included painting parts of the engine. The clear costs as much as the red, $2.35 or something like that...

The interior looks good man. Did you prep it and what did you use to prep it with? Did you use any type of primer then paint or just paint right over it? I planning on doing mine so I really want some more info or this.
