^^^i've found that alot of higher end equipment comes over sized. because my 6x9's are really more like 6.5x10 and i had to make a custom box for them because they wouldnt fit in my stock locations.
idk why they do that because its hard to make plans unless you know. but i allways buy from my local shop that takes care of me, if it dosent fit i can just take it back and get something else. or if i run them for awhile and something better comes out i just take em back and pay the difference to upgrade.
that 6" i pictured fit PERFECTLY in my front 6.5 spot with no mods at all. and its WAAAAYYYYYY louder and clearer then the audiobahn AS65v i replaced. they are about $100ish each but well worth it, you can allways hear my music over anyone elses with a stereo.
