Nice! There are better ways to carrying in your car but that was dedicated to carrying a pistol in it.

That looks like an easy way to blow your stereo to kingdom come. Their heart is in the right place but the pistol isn't, for fast access. Do you REALLY want the main grab-point to be the *trigger*?

I'm for modifying cars so they can conceal weapons. This particular alteration needs to be altered a bit IMO. Flip it so the butt is away from the driver, and make the cutouts so the fingers and thumb are what you grab - and maybe even put a foam block in the trigger guard so the gun can't be fired from its resting position. Slide your thumb underneath, grab the grip with three fingers, index finger along the slide, and it would almost jump into your hand if you cut the foam right.

Pretty cool but I'd be scare of hitting a pot hole or something and the gun going off. You would have to create something to hold a clip easily because I wouldnt want to drive around with a loaded pistol like that.

A rigid foam panel cut very close to the contour of the pistol would allow zero movement. Any gun worth having only goes bang if the trigger is pulled. Do this right, and there's no worry about accidental discharges.
