ok now im thinking mine are 6.5" again now... i guess its like when you take a multiple guess, usually your first answer is the right one...

Dweet, I just noticed what you said here.If you used washers to space the woofers out away from the window, how are you sealing them? You cannot have space/gap between the woofer and the mounting area(baffle).If so, the back wave of the speaker is allowed to mix with the front wave and this will cause phase shifts. The biggest sign of this problem will be a serious lack of bass.Other signs of phase problems will be images that are 'misplace', along the sound stage.

Uhm, Madtib.

What did you do to Dweets first post?

Anyways, the fronts are 6.75, not 6.50. You'll notice when you try to put in 6.5's like I did that you have to squeeze the plastic mount in place to get them to go.
