Default Need advice on upholstering seats

I picked up a pair of race seats from a friend pretty cheap ($100 for the pair). They are a no name brand, and are in pretty good condition except for one thing. A side bolster on the drivers seat is ripped up. The seats are blue (my car is Cobalt Blue and I have blue interior pieces). I took them to a couple of different upholstery places and I received some quotes. Im not sure what I should do so maybe you guys can give me some good advice.

1. Cheapest quote to upholster both seats is around $800. They will be in a different fabric, but still blue. Just not the fabric that the seats currently have.

2. The reason why I may want to re-upholster the seats completely is because they dont have the same color blue or fabric to fix the side bolster so it matches. So I can either do the first option, and pay all that money, OR I could pay $300 to have ONLY the side bolsters redone on both seats. I can choose any color or fabric for that price. Saving $500 is cool and all but how weird would it look if the seats were blue (back and bottom), but the side bolsters were blue and a different type of fabric, or say black and a different type of fabric?

I wouldn't say itd be too weird, many cars come with cars that the bolsters have a different type of material, like this Cobra cobra 04

I think it would look okay honestly.

It would only be the bottom bolsters. Not the back part. Think it would still look ok?
