Yeah, take your time with the carpet.It's pretty easy to build stuff, but it's a damn PITA when it comes to finishing!! At least from my experience,anyway.

um, not easy when ur figuring things out for the first time. weve spent like 15-20 hrs on the project so far. lol. im such a a newb. anyways yeah i just need to figure out how to redue my amp mount designs cuz they got screwed up by ONE little tiny piece of wood. and then carpet

As far as I'm concerned, any part of a great system should be geared mostly toward sound quality.A certain amount of spl is necessary for Sq, but you don't need to make people hear you several blocks away.

More pics..... i get the new sub this week, and side panels have yet to be made, but are easy. also having some trouble with the cap moving around, but ill fix that tomorrow. ill try to get another pic when its COMPLETELY finished. but we're getting close now.

Pic up an Iasca test and set up cd.On the cd there are 'bass drops', that will help you find your various rattles.By 'bass drops', I mean that they generate a bass test tone that starts at 80 or 90Hz and slowly drops down to 20hz or so.Most rattles will be found between 90hz and about 60hz.
