Mounting Safc Ii

ok i got my safc II in today. woot! now i gotta mount it. i know people have stuck it in ash tray area. im just wondering what parts have to be cut out? im sure the ash tray itself seeing its attatch the swinging cover. anyone help would be great. also pics would help

What I did was remove the ash tray portion and pop off the ash tray cover itself. Then I took ABS cement and glued the ashtray cover into the hole of the dash piece so it looked like the ash tray was closed. After it is dried solid fill in any gaps that are there with more ABS cement. After that I took the cover off the SAFC and traced it onto the dash piece then cut it out with the dremel. Put the SAFC cover in the hole and ABS cement it in.

If you want to see mine look in my for sale. If you are interested and have a first gen tib send me your SAFC cover and dash piece and I will send you my dash piece with the SAFC already molded in.
