Default Mounting an amp question

I have seen people mount their amps to their back seats so that the amp is right up against the seat. I have seen others mount their amps with what looks like spacers between the amp and the seat so theres air flow between the 2. Where do I get those little spacers and is there an actual technical term for it?

Don't know exactly what type you want but they are called stand offs. Some have a threaded insert all the way through, some have a stud and a threaded insert.

Here's a threaded rod coupling nut. 1/4" -20 should do the job and available at about any hardware store.

Buy a 4awg kit with it? Use some of the left over insulator from over the wire.
