I've been using this one (Cobra)...works well. I don't usually use one except on road trips.

do they make one that DOES NOT plug into your cig lighter? Like a wireless one?

they sell like a $2 hardwire kit and then you still have the lighter plug one to use in other cars

Patreezy my dad has that one and I have the little bit newer one. When ever we go to a race or someother thing together we pick up the same signals at the same time, sometimes we get different little ones. Do you not want the wires or do you not want the ciglighter taken up. My dad has a splitter from the cig lighter in which one is used for the gtech and the other the radar dector. He did something where he put the wire behind through the glove box in the evo can probally also be done in the tib. O yea and the most important thing neither of us have gotten tickets in the year or so weve had them fing02.gif

I know that radar kicks ass (especially cuz it was free).

How much does that model run for btw? just curious?

Now, I don't car about the cig lighter bein taken up, just the wire hanging there, I was gonna run it behind the dash but I only use it during road trips and stuff.

I have mine hardwired, just think it looks like crap otherwise. I can't stand that wire dangling.
