Just bought the Cobra ESD 8200 Radar/Laser detector at Best Buy and took like 5 mins to install. It works like a charm for the $65 I paid.

I have solo s2, same thing is 8500 just wireless, and only falls alerts I get are the automatic doors at the plazas and malls, not that I drive faster than 10mph there either way... So, I'm not sure wtf you talking about man. And it smells the cop over the hills from over a mile away... simply amazing!

just driving by stores on a highway will make his go nuts. its all in how sensitive the thing is though. my radar detector is still plenty sensitive to give me ample time to slow down, by reducing falses by a bunch. his is more sensitiv, but to everything.

there is just no way to distinguish between a automatic door opener and a radar detector on the same frequency band. so its all in just how sensitive the thing is.
