One other thing..........Red neon is not as bright as some others like blue.Just wanted you to be aware of that.

Here are a couple pics of the strings I set up:


This is 2 neon string lights that are wrapped around the overhead console.I wired these so they work as dome lights,instead of actually having bulbs.


This one is a little difficult to see.The red is circling around the cigarette lighter.The blue illuminates the inside of the ash tray.

how did u use the neon string for such short lengths? i only thought it came in like 10 foot sections...

The ones that I got can be cut to length!! Some are like this and some are not.

The ones you can not cut are made by 'Quest'.I'd tell you the name of the ones that can be cut,but I can't think of it right now.

Okay..........I just found one of the packages for the ones that can be cut to length.......made by 'StreetGlow'.The model is Optix.This is also what I used for the 15" tubes.

Looks Good, I would like to do it with greens to match the rest of the neons on my car. But I like how you wired it up with the light switch.
