Default Kenwood Installation.

I had my new Elantra GL in the Car Stereo shop I deal with yesterday to have my Kenwood stereo components installed by a professional.
A friend and I had done two seperate installations when I had my Accent; but now its winter and its too cold to deal with the aggravation when the weather is this ****ty.
Everything went well, bettter than I had anticipated in fact. You see, the inner door molding has a black plastic piece that the door handles are situated in, and I wanted the tweeters to sit in the space between the handle and the dash. Low and behold, on the higher end Elantra's this must be exactly where the tweeters go on the factory installed systems. I was a little surprised when Doug {installer} came out from the back and said, "I guess you want the tweeters here." as he pointed to the inner side of the door molding where a hole was cut in the fabric that is attached to the inner side of the door. The look really good there, and are obviously in one of the best spots in order to achieve optimum sound quality.

I also had them hookup Kenwood's 10" sub in a regular box, but I found I didnt like it as much as the band-pass I had been using in the Accent.
Any way, I know Kenwood isn't deemed the best in the business, but they are definitely a great buy for the price.
