Sorry for reviving old thread, but my latch mechanism rattles like crazy - especially the bar that connects the key barrel thing to the actual latch.

I guess this is what I should be looking to replace right?

hyundaipartsonline has something called "lift gate latch", but I don't know if it includes that bar.

Although i have 2 struts bars front and back, it really helps. I stuffed it really good so even if you push the panels, it fells rock hard. I did it on the doors, roof, floor, firewall and trunk. The only place i didn't do is the back quarter panels.
