before he asks... does that ring come off of the shifter part of the console?

Basically though.. unless you can do some work, the only choices you have for a chrome or polished ring around your shifter is to buy one from the store at HP.com OR try and find one of the rare EVO2 rings like Xorro has in her tib...

If you do not mind some work...



There is a LOT of sanding involved in getting that to fit.. not to mention making the hole bigger in the console.

 

Thanks KayJai, I appreciate your response. It looked like it was a stock painted part but you never know nowadays.

 

how about going with the outside stock color onthe dash...whats everuones opinion on that.

i have white right now(looks horrible) fixin to change colors just wanted some suggestions to my match/not clash with my exterior color.

how about exterior blue with white accents?

dude where did you get those door handles, please tell us.

 

I didn't get them anywhere,really. I made them myself. 8)


I used strips of copper plated metal straps that already have those holes in it. Then I fiberglassed them into place.It's a little bit more involved then that, but that's basically it.Then, I fit little 3" neon tubes behind the handles.It looks cool as hell at night!!

 

Hobgoblin, I have to agree. I love purple but 8O only use pastel colors if the exterior is pastel. I really think that the gunmetal or bronze would go best with orange. If you want to stick with the purple theme, try house of kolors kameleon purple to orange. That would look sharp! I plan on painting my exterior house of kolor purple passion pearl and the interior some form of kameleon. Looks great in my opinion. wink.gif
