Thanks everyone for the input!!

REDZ talked me into purple and green.

Dammit Redz... Bad Redz, bad! Ok man, I can't let an orange car go out like this...

With an orange exterior:
1. There's the obvious orange interior
2. There's the two colors that make up orange, Red and Yellow... but I don't think that would look that great in a car (think Ronald McDonald)
3. Blue is on the other side of the color wheel... a bright royal blue might look really sharp (stay away from the pastels and baby colors unless the exterior was pastel or baby colored)
4. Shades: White, Black, Silver, Gunmetal & the sort will go with anything, just don't mix too many of them together into a scheme.

I don't want to make you feel bad about the current scheme that you've already used, but if any of us had seen the colors you intended, we would have tried to stop you ahead of time. It's up to you, man... and if you like it the way it is, tell us all to fock off. Your opinion of your car is THE most important thing.

I think I am going to do the interior in the Mirage paint. Anyone got a color suggestion for my cobalt Tib?

If you went a little darker those colours would look really good. The purple is just to girlie. Go with a really Dark Purple, and maybe a really bright neon like green. Then you could accent your car's interior with green neon if needed. Much like the Hobgolbin's green gas bombs (???)

OFF TOPIC: And how do I get a hold of the guy with that silver interior. I need to know how he got that shifter surround. It is beautiful.

I used a combo of blue/red, purple/green, and gold/magentia. Pretty wild looking.

Like MadTib says,... it's from the 2nd gen,... Oy, seems like dejavu to me,... anyway, here are the answer to your future questions which I KNOW You will have

- Yes it will fit the 1st gen
- NO it won't line up with the stereo bezel. The 2nd gen surround will sit like 1/2" taller than your 1st gen stereo bezel
- Yes you can get a 2nd gen bezel, and Yes it will fit also on your 1st gen, but it'll look WRONG with it being kinda flat and your 1st gen being rounded.
